- Accumulator
- Similar to a parlay, a bet that combines multiple selections into one wager, with winnings rolling over each winning pick.
- Asian Handicap
- A spread betting system that eliminates the draw option and gives a half‑goal or quarter‑goal advantage to one team.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for betting.
- Bookmaker
- The company or individual that sets odds and accepts bets.
- Both Teams To Score (BTTS)
- A wager that wins if each side scores at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet before the match ends, locking in a profit or cutting a loss.
- Correct Score
- A bet that predicts the exact final score of a match.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes (win, draw, loss) in a single match.
- Fading
- Betting against a popular pick or a known bettor, expecting the opposite outcome.
- Futures
- A long‑term bet placed on an event that will be decided in the future, such as which team will win the World Cup.
- Half‑Time Bet
- A wager placed on what will happen in the first half of a match, such as which team leads or the total goals.
- Juice (Vig)
- The commission a bookmaker takes on a bet, usually built into the odds, meaning you pay a little extra for each wager.
- Live Betting
- Placing a wager on a match while it is in progress, with odds that shift as the game unfolds.
- Margin
- The built‑in advantage a bookmaker has in odds, ensuring they profit over the long term.
- Moneyline
- A bet on which team will win the match outright, with odds shown as a positive or negative number.
- Odds
- The number that tells you how much you can win relative to your stake; higher odds mean a bigger payout but lower chance of winning.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals scored in a match will be over or under a set figure.
- Parlay
- A single bet that links two or more selections; all must win for the bet to pay out, increasing the potential payout.
- Point Spread
- A handicap given to the underdog to level the playing field, expressed as a number of goals.
- Proposition Bet
- A side bet on a specific event within a match, like which player scores first or the number of yellow cards.
- Push

- Stake

- Unit
